This Regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing 2013-
2. Eligibility and Entry:
The event is open to Butterfly sailboats and skippers who fill out a registration form and pay
Registration: $20, USC or US Sailing members receive a $5 discount ($15).
Entry fee includes great racing, the opportunity to have a great time and win bragging rights
among your fleet, and trophies. Entry fee does not include mandatory Union Reservoir Park
vehicle or boat passes, available at the park entry station.

4. Schedule of Events:
Sunday, June 22, 2014
08:30 to 09:30 Registration at USC
09:30 Skippers Meeting
10:00 Warning signal for the first race, additional races to immediately follow
No race will be started after 16:00.
Awards ceremony will be held as soon as practical after the last race, at the USC clubhouse.
5. Sailing Instructions:
The 2014 Union Sailing Club Sailing Instructions will apply, with any changes announced at
the Skippers Meeting. The Sailing Instructions are available at the Union Sailing Club web

A. The regatta site will be at Union Sailing Club on the south-eastern shore of Union
Reservoir, Longmont, Colorado. NOTE: Only launching by hand or by hand-dolly is
allowed at USC. Trailer launching is available at the public launch ramp at the South West
B. Any boats being brought on site must report to the Union Reservoir Park main gate
to be inspected for Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) by the Park staff prior to launching. This
applies to all trailered boats, even those launched at the USC ramps.
